Littleton’s burger scene doesn’t scream for attention, and that’s exactly why it works. Locals know to skip the chains and head for the unmarked corners where the patties are smashed to order and the Colorado sunshine hits the patio just right.

I’ve chased beef from the old-school dives to the spots that dress it up with brie and arugula, and the gap between them is smaller than you’d think. One bite of a double cheeseburger with griddled onions at a bar that also pours a proper ESB settles the argument.

This list isn’t about rankings; it’s about the places where you’ll find your own regular seat, and I’ve left no bun unturned to bring it to you.
